Rand Road Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Assistant!
Position Details
- Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Status: Full or part-time
- Salary: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour based on experience
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9am - 5pm, Friday, 9am - 1pm. Part-time option: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am - 5pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays!

What You'll Bring as a Veterinary Assistant
Excellent communication and a calm, caring presence
Strong multitasking and ability to follow instructions
Team-first attitude and self-starter mindset
Able to meet the physical demands (on your feet, stairs, lift up to 50 lbs)
Experience: 1+ year preferred (but all enthusiastic learners encouraged to apply)
What You’ll Do
Assist with patient exams, treatments, lab samples, and radiology
Prepare/maintain treatment areas and equipment
Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Communicate clearly with clients and teammates
Pitch in at the front desk when needed
